Our final days of travel

Our final days of travel comprised of more biking, eating, walking, and great conversations.

Day 5 was an optional loop Calella loop. I opted out of a bike ride today and toured Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc instead. Norm rode the short loop with others in our group.

We enjoyed the rest of the afternoon on the beach and then people-watching on the patio in front of our hotel, and dinner at our hotel as the food was delicious, with great views over the bay.

Our final day to Monells was 34 km of scenic riding, taking us through some fantastic little medieval towns.

Monells is a small medieval village with a lot of history, and it is very charming. It is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. We stayed at a charming resort called Hotel Arcs de Monells. We enjoyed the grounds pool and had our picnic there, compliments of Alistair and Wendy. It was a lovely way to wrap up a fabulous Spanish adventure.

Our final two days are travel days, heading back to Barcelona for a final farewell supper and flight back home the next day.

This was a memorable trip full of highs and lows and a great adventure with an amazing group of people.

Adéu, Spain!
