Touring Uganda
The next couple of days are spent driving to Arcadia Lodge at Lake Bunyonyi, which is a lovely property offering beautiful views of the lake.
We spent a day touring the lake to an echo lodge where we learned how to make Rolex's, a pancake omelette-type dish.
When we returned, a few of us joined Kelly for a yoga session in a thunderstorm. It was actually kind of refreshing. We were under an overhang, so only a little rain reached us.
The next day was a full day of travelling to the airport. We had lunch at the equator and drove to the airport for eight hours. During the entire drive, I marvelled at the driving skills of the bicycle and motorcycle riders here.
The next destination is Dar Salaam, Tanzania tonight, and Mafia Island tomorrow. I am looking forward to feeling a little sand under my feet.
