Larnaca, Cyprus

We are wrapping up our travels in Larnaca, Cyprus. Larnaca is still on the Greek side of the island but with nicer and bigger beaches. It was a pleasant surprise when we checked into the Golden Bay resort and were given a free upgrade to a suite with a sizeable ocean-view balcony with a hot tub.

Tourism has slowed down in Cyprus, partly because Israelis and Russians who typically visit are not coming.

Our fist part of day one was driving here and then spending the afternoon touring Larnaca, which hosts an old historical town and a long beach.

Our final day is all about beach time. The resort has a large beach area. We took a long morning walk and then parked our butt's under an umbrella for the day.

Today, we fly back to Istanbul and then home tomorrow, wrapping up a fabulous trip to Turkiye and Cyprus.

I recommend both locations for easy, clean, friendly and interesting sites.
